How was my Raya '15 like?

Hello my dearest readers wherever you are. I'd like to talk about what was my last Hari Raya Eidul Fitri be like? Yes, I know it's already Dzulkaedah but, Selamat Hari Raya. Hope all went well and you enjoyed your raya as much as I had.

I know it's been more than one month since my last post on my blog as things didn't go smoothly as I predicted, thus no post until today.

Truthfully, my raya this year wasn't really a raya that I've been looking for. We spent our first day of raya in Kelantan, which was not really fun to be there. But, there we were, my family of 5 people, my aunt with her 3 daughters and our grandma.

On the Raya's eve, we; my sister and brother and me, played Monopoly and wooden blocks, (y'know the one that looks like zenga but small in size). Yeah we played that instead of cooking in the kitchen, making rendang or nasi minyak for raya. We (my sister and I) did enter the kitchen to do those stuff but it was 11 in the evening already. We stayed back at the kitchen till almost 3 am. There I said. cooking nasi minyak with kerutuk daging and ayam masak merah at 3am. My aunt tried to show off her skill in making the kerutuk daging but ended up making a rendang daging instead. I don't know where to put the blame on, either on her or the recipe. HAHAHAHAHAHHA

The next day, only my dad went to surau performing Solat sunat hari raya aidilfitri I guess since all the women were in the kitchen for the last minute preparation, i.e. cooking the nasi minyak and ironing our baju raya. At almost 10am, after all the messes, we, the ladies, went out from our dressing room for the raya photo-shoot.

On the second day of raya, I drove back to Terengganu to spent the rest of our cuti raya there. Again, this year's raya wasn't really a fun raya like it used to be.

The funny thing about this year's raya was our *me, my sister and my mom) baju raya weren't completely sewed baju raya till the point if we're about wear this baju raya on the next day, we need to sew the baju raya  from where it was last left behind. Tell you what, that's the perk of being a tailor's children. Customers are the no. 1 priority.

On the next day, we decided to go out of the village, heading to Bandar Kuala Terengganu.

The new Mydin's been opened and there was my sister,

We went to Pantai Batu Burok after having our lunch. The following are some photos taken by me using an iPod 5G. How's my photography skills?

Masjid Sultanah Nur Zahirah, Marang

Stopped by Kelulut, Marang to have some snacks (i.e.  fried squid, fried fish and fish crackers) there

THIS IS HEAVEN!!
Not to forget, a beautiful sunset.
At night, we went over our relatives' in Marang to have some barbecue party. The not so best part of the event was, I had a stomach ache on that day, thus can't really enjoy the party. The lesson that I've learnt was to not eat too much during raya or you're gonna miss the joy of the day.

So, how was you Raya like?
