Me and my friends went to AEON Rawang and we ended up sitting in the cinema theater no 7, watching San Andreas
Here is my personal review on the movie.
The movie is basically about Ray (Dwayne Johnson) rescuing his family from a horribly massive and tremendous earthquake.
The movie starts off with Ray flies a chopper to rescue a girl who got trapped inside her car after the car's sliding down the hill as the hill was collapsing. Ray and his team inside the chopper barely rescued the girl. phew!!
The next scene is a brief about his family- he and his wife, Emma as a separated couple, and his daughter, Blake who's currently living with her mother. Her mother and her mother's boyfriend, Daniel was about to take another step ahead by deciding to moving in together.
Another earthquake hits after the one with the girl and her car and the whole sliding down hill. The next scenes are basically about how the Sliding San Andreas caused earthquakes to happen after one another, noting the highest magnitude of Richter Scale at 9.6 was ever achieved. The situation's getting more tense with all the buildings destroyed and tsunami to happen. Indeed, watching an action movie in cinema is notably exciting, breathtaking and intriguing (at least for me). Y'know, with the sounds system and motion pictures after all.
The very next scene is all about how Ray rescues his family and how this disaster brings his family back together with an addition of another two characters that Blake meets inside Daniel's building.
As expected from the creator of Taken Trilogy, Daniel shows off his true self by leaving Blake behind during the disastrous moment. His action, of course leaving a bad impression to both mom and daughter and whoever related to them, thus the family - Ray, Emma and Blake, reunites after the disaster marks an end. The movie is just solidly rocking!
I rate this movie 3.6/5. Even though the movie id good, there are always some flaws in it. Till you watch it, then you'll understand what I mean. Make sure to grab your ticket and head into the cinema theater to watch this movie.
So basically 2012 with the Rock?
